what pound test should i use for a swordfish leader? and how long a leader?

my 1st wife didn't like me fishing so much

I'd use 100-130# and about 30 feet wind on leader. You can buy them premade by basil.
That's just a shot in the dark though

i looked up some info on leaders and it looks like most guys use 10' of 300# mono or 175/200# flouro. i'll put a couple together. buzzy -we're gonna make that 80 work . where can we get some nice fresh big squid?

my 1st wife didn't like me fishing so much

Last time I was out in the canyons the squid were all around! Bring some squid jigs

Was talking with a spotter pilot locally who believes that swords can be taken rod and reel 60 miles east of Boston at places like Franklin Swell.

If someone were to put the time in, they're there.

about 10 feet of 200 pound Jinkai attach the light stick at the swivel.

I always have a few of the vacuum packed pre-rigged giant squids from baitmaster on board. Just clip them on with a weight and your swordfishing.

I would bring a good jigging rod/reel set up for butterfly style jigging on anchor and a bag-O'-jigs

both. He was saying especially earlier this year. There was an edge of tropical water that had moved in. It was definitely holding swords on the thermocline.
