Republican Party is...

doing untold damage to its own future AND to the country, the United States of America, by prolonging the inevitable, a concession. Pompeo, especially threw himself on the sword by saying it would be a normal transition to a second Trump administration.... What?????

Unless, unless....they are planning what amounts to a coup d'état.... Absolutely disgusting. Senators falling in line to fight this fight equally embarrassing. McConnell has lost what little respect I still had for him. I mean, C'MON MAN!!!! Your man lost! Grow up and own it. This is putting the security of the country in a very vulnerable position.

I have edited the above, correcting that it was Secretary of State Pompeo who made that statement. Barr has only totally politicized the DOJ with this most recent investigation

The democrats fought like tigers for over three years, they came out OK.

If people sign legal affadavits saying they saw irregularities, what, we should ignore that?

The electors are going to pick Biden in December, Bide will be the POTUS, Trump will make an azz out of himself but won't have to be dragged out of there.

Why do so many people feel that Trump is the whole GOP, that there's nothing more to the GOP than Trump? Nikki Haley, Tom Cotton, Dan Crenshaw, these people don't matter at all?

The Democratic party was annihilated at federal, state, and local levels during the Obama years, but the Democrats came back. The pendulum never stops swinging.

What the hell is that, Jim? Bunch of double spaced filler in a letter to the editor? Stand up and give us your stance. Are they right, or wrong, in your opinion, to be doing this?

And yes, Trump is the whole party because NO ONE dares stand up to him....

Didn't you say before that you thought the idea of the leaders of the CIA and FBI attempting a coup to overthrow Trump was too ridiculous to believe?

Jim is a desperate clinger, holding on to the last conspiracy theory that Trump and his fu*cked up boot lickers are trying to legitimize. Crap even Fox News has called this one, we can only hope our enemies don’t strike while the fool is still in charge.

Between 2000 and 2014 over one billion (1,000,000,000) votes were cast in American elections. The number of documented cases of voter fraud? 32

And yet 70% of Republicans do not believe the 2020 election was free and fair.

Jim no one signed sign legal affadavits saying they saw irregularities, to proper authority IE police or local DAs
They were generated by Trumps campaign and all have failed ,, the last one told investigators he lied

Nikki Haley, left a sinking ship to run in 2024. Tom Cotton, A trumps mini me Dan Crenshaw is alone on an island

Stay focused Trump and Republicans only care about power not the constitution not the country .they have always hid behind the flag . all they see are 71 million Trump voters and it’s disgusting to watch

They don’t want to lead American they want to Rule America.. and their supporters are willing participants marching the country down a path of no return , following a pied piper who has never told the Truth wishing to expand their freedoms while suppressing others whom they disagree and calling it Patriotism.

When in fact it’s far more sinister it’s called Fascism. Blinded by the bogie man called socialism spread day in day and day out based on fiction with no consideration to The lesson of history

Just read this

From AP. The Trump campaign’s strategy to file a barrage of lawsuits challenging President-elect Joe Biden’s win is more about providing President Donald Trump with an off-ramp for a loss he can’t quite grasp and less about changing the election’s outcome, according to senior officials, campaign aides and allies who spoke to The Associated Press.

Just think how many lives could have been saved if Republicans put as much effort into fighting COVID as they have put into fighting nonexistent voter fraud.

i’m sure there was fraud ( my wife cited very early, but her name wasn’t crossed off when i voted on election day, so she could’ve voted again. there are signed affidavits from people who say they saw irregularities), probably not hundreds of thousands of cases. of course that should be looked into. naturally, trumps words are way over the top and inappropriate.

turtle boy who is still defending Trumps claims of fraud. However had no issues posing with the newly ELECT Republican Senators . Funny how that works, Senator Johnson was asked by reporters if he has congratulated Biden , his response. “For What”. not interested in leading more interested in votes. I noticed the sound byte where the guy said “radical left”. I don’t watch cable tv “news” so I have to wonder if that term is used all the time?? I hear it used by some of my older family members who are addicted to watching fox. According to them, I am radical left and a threat to their conservative beliefs. LOL.

I would love to know how many people are truly brainwashed by watching that crapola. I miss Walter Cronkite and the days where the news was just facts and it forced you to be a critical thinker.

Personally, I doubt very seriously that fraud changed the outcome. I don't believe that, I was expecting Trump to get creamed as soon as covid hit our shores. I personally don't think it made a big difference in this election.

However, they aren't "just Trumps claims" of fraud. There are people who signed affadavits (which are legal documents, look up the definition) that they saw irregularities take place. Why the heck wouldn't you want that looked into? THAT'S what's interesting to me. Why are you so determined to sweep under the rug, every single person who says they have evidence of fraud? How can you know, that not one of those claims has merit? You've investigated them all? Or, do you always, automatically, conclude whatever helps your side, every single time, zero exceptions?

You're right Wayne, we should all just accept the loss and move on, look forward to 4 years from now...just like your side did in 2016, right? Your side immediately accepted the results of that election, never said or did anything to try and undermine the will of the people. Nope, not once. Right? Right? How can you say this with a straight face?

Where the f*** do you people get off, lecturing ANYBODY about accepting defeat? How many riots have republicans started since the election? How many Walmarts have we burned to the ground? How many cops have we killed?

What's good for the goose...

Poor victim

In 2016, Trump won MI, PA, and WI by a combined 77,000 votes. Clinton conceded and he met with Obama 48 hours after the election.

In 2020, Biden won those same states by a combined 214,000 votes (and counting). Trump, his admin and GOP leaders won't recognize the outcome.

Meanwhile there is a a furious behind-the-scenes battle to counter Trump’s threat to national security.

"Jim is a desperate clinger"

A blatant lie. I criticize Trump and Republicans all the time.

"holding on to the last conspiracy theory that Trump and his fu*cked up boot lickers are trying to legitimize'

Me: I don't believe voter fraud came close to rising to the level that it changed the outcome of the election. I think legal votes result in Biden winning. I am very confident of that. That's what I believe, I thought for a year Trump was going to lose.

GS response: Jim is one of the conspiracy theorists claiming the election was stolen!

I am an honest, reasonable, thoughtful person, GS. And you can't handle it. So you blatantly lie. How can you interpret my position, as believing in any conspiracy theory? Please explain?

Your side desperately clung to nonsensical conspiracy theories for three years.

Your daily reminder that President-elect Biden won this election with highest percentage for a challenger since FDR in 1932. A landslide.

"Are they right, or wrong, in your opinion, to be doing this?"

They are right to be looking into it. They are wrong, to be saying that fraud is the reason why Biden won. We don't have any reason to believe that at this point. But there's plenty of reason to believe there was preventable fraud. As I said, I'm one guy, and I sure didn't go looking for any fraud, but I saw a huge hole in the system that would have absolutely allowed my wife to vote twice. Why would anyone believe hers was the only case where that happened? She voted early, way before election day, but her name wasn't crossed off. I was told on election day, that she could come down and vote.

Can I answer it any more directly? Yes, there are some things that need to be investigated, so that all reasonable people feel confident about the results. But Trump should not be shooting his mouth off that he knows he got robbed.

My position? Shut him up, but do a reasonable investigation into claims that have merit.

Is that a crazy notion? I don't think so. It's not partisan conspiracy lunacy that the left engaged in for three years after the 2016 election (we have his tax returns! Russia! Collusion! ) They were calling for impeachment, literally, before he took office. That's not crazy?

Tom Cotton is a Trump mini-me? He's as obnoxious and offensive as Trump? He's as immoral?

Cotton graduated cum laude (look up what that means) from Harvard and then Harvard Law. Instead of chasing money, he enlisted in the Army. They wanted him to be a JAG lawyer, he said no thanks I want the infantry, so he saw combat.

Nothing honorable there in your eyes? You see noting brave, or selfless, in that story? You see no patriotism, no integrity, NOTHING that deserves any credit? All you see, is a miniature Trump?

You stick with that, Einstein.

You struck no nerve. You told a humiliating lie. That doesn't do anything to me, doesn't say anything about me. Just you.

Again, how can any sane person interpret my position as any kind of clinging to stupid conspiracy theories? Please explain?

If I say explicitly that I don't think fraud made a difference, how could ANYONE conclude that I'm clinging to conspiracy theories? How could you possibly connect those dots?

your clueless . reguardless of his past accomplishments Doesn't excuse him from the present.. Clearly you are influenced by shiny objects you ran to Amy defense in the same manner

I guess you think he is a hero for his letter to Iran clearly

Un-patriot games: GOP senators' letter to Iran is a treacherous betrayal of the U.S. constitutional system

Bannon told The New Yorker in November 2017: "Next to Trump, he's the elected official who gets it the most—the economic nationalism. Cotton was the one most supportive of us, up front and behind the scenes, from the beginning. He understands that the Washington élite—this permanent political class of both parties ... needs to be shattered." hes 100% Trumps Mini me
