Talking The fishies are back!!!

Hi All, well a couple of days ago we hit Cape Cod for some shore fishing to see if any new fish have arrived.

The good news is that we managed to pick up about 24 fresh schoolies covered with sea lice which means they are fresh from the ocean.
Bill also managed to get his 1st keeper of the season. We hit several of our early season shore spots and were not disappointed, There was not a huge number of fish, but more will be coming every day now so it is time to get out there and wet a line.

I will post a couple of pictures in our photo section for you to check out, it was a beautiful day and SO SO nice to be back out on the water after a 6 month hiatis!!!

We will be ripping the cover off the boat and getting her ready to roll this week then all we will have to do is wait for the go ahead from the marina to inform us that the docks are in and we can launch the boat in for the season.

We should have Big Stripers here in Boston Harbor by the 3rd week of May.

That means they will be large, hungry and ready to eat those nice big mackeral they are following up the coast as well as tons of herring that are already here to get eaten.

I also have posted some information under our news links that people need to read if they are fishing saltwater in MA this season. You need to have a permit this year. It is free this year, but next season you will be paying for it. All the information is listed in our news link so check it out.

Please note: that if you are chartering with us this season you DO NOT need to have one on OUR VESSEL. The Boat has its own Permit for this new registry. You will only need it if you are fishing by yourself in MA saltwater, boat or shore. SO check out the info.

OK time is getting close and if you want to get out and get into some of the best spring fishing of the Striped Bass season here in Boston Harbor, now is the time to call and get your trip booked. We still have plenty of good dates for the spring fling mackerel thing!!!!!!!!!

Please be aware that we are giving a $50 discount on all trips scheduled prior to May 1st so call soon!!!
