Thumbs up Boat is in the water!!! Time to rip lips!!!

Hi All, well our boat the Alternative is in the water and our 1st shake down cruise went well. She is running top notch.

We launched the boat Thursday and also did some scounting in the outer saltwater surrounding Boston Harbor to look for Mackerel that are starting to show. We got in the water later in the morning due to the tides and after searching for a few hours did not find any. But did mark some on the fish finder here and there.

We have heard reports of macks being around and will be out there again tomorrow to see what we can find. Alot of bait and big fish are moving north from Cape Cod and will be showing here in Boston harbor any day now.

We do have some bass here aleardy as there have been a few large surface feeds going on with Stripers pushing herring to the surface and feeding well in the inner harbor.

Things are shaping up to be a really good season this year so we are just jonesing to get going.

The Flounder bite is also starting to really shape up, and the offhsore Cod and Haddock bite is on fire right now with alot of large Pollock in the mix.

Thank Goodness winter is over!!!

Now is the time to get booked on your charters for the season. We are now accepting Visa and Mastercard for deposits on trips as well.

We will be out on the water tomorrow and I will post what we find. Some of the best Striped bass fishing of the season for larger bass is on our door step so if you want to get out and rip some lips, give us a call and we will get you scheduled.
