Talking Boston harbor Striper fishing on fire!!! Trip dates available

Hello all,

Well there is not much that I can say about Boston Harbor saltwater fishing right now other than it is on fire and just keeps getting better every day!!!.

We have hoards and hoards of bait fish coming in every day, Just when we thought the mackerel where gone, there are tons of them around, not a lot of the bigger ones but 6-7 inch tinkers everywhere, herring everywhere. baby bunker, big and I do mean big Pogies. It is just insane right now!!! It is creating a lifelike picture of an Alfred Hitchcock movie out on the water right now. Birds flying an diving, bait flying in the air and fish popping the baits right out of the water. Just an incredible site. I will have to take the time to do some video's next time out as you won't believe it till you actually see it.

As for catching, we are doing great with top water and also with big baits so it all depends on what the day brings, but when you are prepared for both, which is what we do, you are all set.

We have managed to get some really nice bass 20lb -32 lbs on live bait and over the past week as well as a ton of fish on light tackle averaging 25 inches - 36 inches and some times bigger fish under those fish. There are some Bluefish in the inner harbor but most of them are smaller rat blues, but if you go outside the harbor those blues grand daddies are out there averaging 8-14 lbs.

This is absolutely one of the best years of fishing we have had in Boston Harbor in quite a few years, and is continuing to really shape things up for a spectacular and unbelievable fall run. To have this good of fishing in the month of August which is usually called the doldrums due to all the heat, is just not even an option this year.

The Bluefin Tuna bite is starting to heat back up as well as there have been some nice 600-800 lb. Giants landed this week and a lot of tuna hanging right outside Boston harbor due to all the bait around, some days fishing outside you just never know what you might catch as guys are getting there bass gear spooled by these speed demons.

If you want to get out and experience some of the best fishing you will ever see, We have plenty of dates available thru out the rest of the season which will last well into October and maybe even November. Give us a call and we will get you out there.

If you want to join one of our shared trips, just give us a call or let me know you might want to join the ongoing email list we have generated to post dates when open and we will sign you up.

You can check out some of the latest catches in our photo section, so enjoy and lets get out there on the water and rip some lips!!!
