North shore guys get your ice skates out

Looks like this is going to be a nasty storm for Boston and just north, the ice and freezing rain is going to make it tough. My fear is getting into the game Sunday for a quarter and then loosing power, I need to have a back up bar plan in place, although if I DVR it even without power I can go watch it later.......just not the same as live. Travel safe.

On the coast in Plymouth, I expect the usual......nada. We might get a few inches tonight, but the rain they are predicting for us will wash that away.

How can you DVR it if the DVR doesn't have power?

If you program it on comcast, or what ever provider you have, it should be in the system and record it for your account. Won't work if you are depending on a separate DVR.

Ocean effect snow here put down less than an inch a bit ago. Hoping to get all cleared between 9 and noon before temps start to plummet.

Strapped on my ice skates yesterday for first time in 15 years...was a little weird at first.
Then it all came back to me.
Had a blast and the 30 year olds with me couldn't believe that at 63 i could out skate them with ease.

After they realized they couldnt get past me they usually resorted to taking slap shots at me.

They probably didn’t have a hammer in their hand all day either...
