Tip-Top Size Conversion

Hi Guys - Im not building - just repairing a rod. My local shop doesnt have a tip top to fit my rod so I was going to order one online. However I can't figure out the size conversion. The sizes that they list run like this 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5 etc...

http://www.eangler.com/proshop/produ...=5912&dept_id=

The inside diameter of the tip top needs to be 3.5mm - what size would that be?

Thanks in advance
Dave

those numbers are in 64th's of an inch. You need a 9 (64ths) =
9/64 x 25.4 = 3.57mm

Best to bring it somewhere to fit it, sometimes the sizes aren't true. You can get the 10 to be safe and use some thread over the blank.

Good luck
