The dues certainly do count, and are appreciated as well as put to very good use.
I belong to MSBA and MBBA, I am not a physical presence at MBBA, but I know my money goes towards what I believe in, they are a great club and I am a member proudly. I put in my share of time at MSBA  and I truely enjoy it, most the time. Sometimes it is thankless work, and alot of what I do may not even be noticed by the membership. But I know what I am doing is benifiting the club as well as striped bass and the general fishing population. So I take alot of pride in what I do.
