Foil finish finally!

Here is what I have been working on.
The plug is metal foil tape W/ mesh under the foil. There is 5 coats of envirotex to even out the plug. There is also paint in every layer of tex, giving the plug amazing depth of color. This one plug took me a week. I think the results are worth it!

I just want to thank everyone, I really appreciate the tips & knowledge I have learned in the last 2 months. This plugmaking is definitely addicting.

Goo Goo, that is unreal. Nice work man.

Sweet pluggage, what kind of paint did you use?.

You used to make plugs 15 years ago and stopped, then started a month ago again. Why did you stop? Did people say you were too good at it? That plug is amazing. Great work.

Nice work

That plug looks great, but what is the weight of it with the foil and five coats of e-tex?

I used cypress, I chose the lightest board I could find. The finished weight complete with bucktail is 3.5 oz

Awesome work, clean as a whistle! When I work up the courage, I have to try that.
