F/S Ingersol 3014 Tractor w/comm. grade wood splitter

I have upgraded to a new lawn tractor and was going to keep the Ingersol to use just for splitting wood. It has a commercial grade splitter that bolts to the back of the tractor that retailed for $1200.00 when we bought the lawn tractor itself. Now I'm sure it would be substantially more for the same setup. We had cut a deal for the lawn tractor when the owner of the business says a guy bought a splitter from me and he can't handle it. Told me what it retailed for and said I'll sell it half price, so I took it. My wife says after my recent tuneup in the hospital to get my heart running on all eight cylinders I can no longer buy log length wood, cut it to length, and then split it. Aw gee willickers, your breakin my heart. Anyway this tractor has 1078 hours on it, but runs like a top. It has a 14 hp Kohler engine on it. I have replaced the carburator and the fuel pump. The battery is one year old. The neutral switch crapped out years ago so I have to lift up the hood and use a finger to pull up the switch contacts, and then turn the key to start the engine. The mowing deck has some rot, right behind the left front tire(see duck tape), which to the right person who can weld a patch on it wont matter. The seat is only a couple of years old and cost well over a hundred dollars to replace. Everything is hydraulic on the tractor. The mowing deck goes up and down by hydraulics, the grass vacuum works on hydraulics, which bring me to the the most obvious blem on the tractor. That housing for the hydraulic suction/vacuum rotted. It can be replaced, but I am not doing it. I bolted it together better and it works fine, but in a perfect world it could be replaced. I am selling this first and foremost as a splitter. The splitter never met a log it couldn't handle. All the hoses are new and there are no leaks anywhere on the tractor. Every third or forth time using it I have to add about and 1/8" of oil to bring it to full on the dipstick. Oil was changed every 25 hours as called for over the years, and thats why it still runs as it should. I have a bunch of pictures I am going to post with this ad. I am asking $650.00 for the tractor. It cost almost $5000.00 twenty years ago.

Ingersol 3014 tractor...........AS you can see in the second and third pics the housing for the hydraulic vacuum. The taped side is what is rotted. I bolted the sides together and it still works very well. That housing can be replaced. The parts can be bought. The hose is almost brand new that runs from the tractor to the hydraulic vacuum. I replaced the hydraulic pump about five years ago as well. The large arm that extends from the back od the tractor towards the vacuum comes off and the same bolts used to secure the arm with are use for securing the log splitter tyo the tractor.

As you can see this is the splitter. I put this on myself, but anyone would be smart to get onbe other person to help them.

Ingersol 3014 tractor.............last one. Pickup only, no deliveries. Oh yah, it has a three bag system that, if I dont wait to mow the lawn, the bags dont have to be emptied until the job is done, and the bags are new two years ago at a cost of $200.00

Deck is 48" and the splitter will take at least a 24"log if not a 26" log. It will split going in two directions. The splitters height raises and lowers to any height. It can be set on the ground, so a log only has to be lifted on six inches. I usually set it on cinder blocks, so I didn't have to bend over anymore than that. This unit is worth buying for the splitter by itself. Like I said I was going to keep it and permantly attach the splitter to the tractor, but the wife says otherwise.
