For all who like to paddle; Hootie's is hosting it's "1st anual UP the RIVER Canoe/kayak Race" Sept. 26th2009 10:30am starting at the BarnIsland Boat Ramp finishing at the Westerly in town Boat ramp. BBQ to follow. 1st place prizes for Canoe; Tandem Kayak and solo Kayak. Tee shirt included. $50 per boat proceeds to benifit the
V.F.W. roof fund - Stop the leaks!!!

This event is this Saturday! You can sign up on Saturday at 10am at the Barn Island Ramp as well as Hootie's Cafe 98 West Broad St. at any time. There are a limited amount of shirts though so sign up soon!
The Proceeds from this event are going to The V.F.W. Post 1265,
160 Broad St. Pawcatuck, CT roof fund.
