Tuna Trips past few weeks

The fishing has been fantastic. Multiple fish being taken every trip and the fish a healthy size. Another nice thing is that they are spread out everywhere. The last trip we saw 4 fish eat the offering 3 tagged and one went to the grill. The old standby has been the ticket.

I can tell you that with those 65-70" fish the big ones are swimming too. One word og caution; if you dont have radar dont run at 30 knots in pea soup fog. If you have radar slow down also you arent invincible. It amazes me how many people just pop up out of no where in the fog without radar.

I should have said "one tuna is all I can eat" at a time. Boated a 61" 2 weeks ago using a pink squid bar and just looking to see if trolling is still catching. Last time everything was hot.

Matt -

That is great to hear!!

someday, I'll discover what the "old standby" means. Of course, by that time, the environment will have changed.

Be well.

Rob lets get together and go out. Im pretty open.
You bring the food and I'll take care of the rest. As for charter no I dont have the time. 2 kids, wife, work = no charter in the future.

Lots of tuna. Multiple fish should be the everyday norm. With pogies 5 fish is not unreasonable.
