The Eely Project

Swam my eely's I just turned and weighted in the river behind my house, (love seeing the neighbors looking at me as I am walking down the street with rod and lure in hand in January) and it swam beautifully. Nice and tight with no rolling at all. Tossing them in the sealer in the a.m. for an hour and then dry for a few days. Now to nail down the cutty poppers I am finagling with. I am going to weight the first one that I turned and toss that in the river again. It threw quite a bit of water, but the tail sits up a little to much for my liking.

i used to have a mallard duck frank
ate all the bugs in my garden including
the cockroaches that were numerous out in Calif.
when i moved there and she ate every single one!

but anyways i trained it to sit on my shoulder
and i'd go for a walk like that with this friggan duck on my
shoulder....talkin about getting looks....heh heh

i had to keep one hand in the air and the duck would
reach out and grab ahold of the loose skin on my finger knuckle
in order to achieve balance and what a sight that must have been.

i didn't care at all.... and if they didn't speak to me-> even better.
