Sure, and Democrats would never think of politicizing a natural disaster

Someone else must have been trying to make political hay post-Katrina

Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools, because they have to say something.

Yea, no difference in post failure critique vs a pre-emptive manipulation

Sounds like they're afraid of being knocked out of the news so they want to connect the events.

I agree, this is pretty lame.

Who is going to get the kudos if FEMA/Bush, or someone in government does a good job with Gustav?

Question is moot to be honest. We should expect FEMA to do a good job if there's a big problem. Hopefully things will be in control, they're certainly dealing with it differently from the start...

I hear all the parties that were planned at the RNC are going to be fund raisers for the huricane victims. Boy, that's BS.... I'm so pissed..... The nerve of them Republicans.

I'm with you Spence. Both parties better get it right this time. No excuses. People's lifes are on the line.
