Pahkin' near the Gahden???

Going to a Celts game next week - first time since the Bird/Parrish/McHale days! So - this will be my first time at the not-so-new-anymore Garden. Anybody have any recommendations for parking fairly nearby?
thanks!

you're probably better off parking at sullivan sq or wellington station for like 3 bucks and riding the T for 3 stops ;P

We parked at the Government Center Garage for the Police concert last weekend. While it's just a short walk with many bars and food joints along the way, it did take us nearly an hour to exit the parking garage once we found our car...yea, it sucked.

But the pizza joint across from the SW corner of the Garden was most excellent. 32 ounce drafts of many tasty beers

Always check the side streets across from the Garden first. Canal St., Friend St... I get lucky and get a meter spot pretty often.

I always use the garage on the other side of the expressway, easy in, easy out.

If you drive in front of the Gahdin heading east, it's past the park after the big intersection on the right hand side.
