Pink Floyd Fans!

As many of you know I'm a Pink Floyd Junkie. When it comes to their music I never grow old. My son gave me a new Floyd CD for Christmas: "Wish You Were Here - Experience Version" It includes two discs:
Disc 1 is a Re-mastered version of the original WYWH album.

Disc 2 IMO is the highlight:
It includes a live WYWH concert performed at Wembly Stadium in 1974 BEFORE the original studio CD was released(1975).
Listening to it is almost like hearing the classic tracks such as Shine on you Crazy Diamond, Have a Cigar, and Wish You Were Here for the first time and as they were intended to sound before later studio versions.
This disc also includes two live versions of songs that would later be released in 1977 on the Animals Album. The track "Sheep" was originally titled "Raving and Drooling" and the track "Dogs" was originally titled "You've Got to Be Crazy". Both are unbelievable and sound completely different.

Floyd Fans looking for something new - pick up this set!

Also - Waters tour this summer will perform "The Wall" Live at Yankee Stadium. Will also stop in Boston.

Thumbs up there's nothing better

Than taking a long cruise in a nice car winding thru the mountain roads
enjoying the scenery and listening to PINK Floyd

one of my favorite things to do....

There was a great David Gilmore concert on cable last week...lot's of old Pink Floyd stuff as well as some of DG's solo tunes. Always liked his guitar tone and style of saying more with fewer notes.

When making wiseazz comments about someone who went out of there way to try and help a total stranger with of a pretty serious housing situation...just because they asked....well, to use one of your cartoon metaphors.....you come off as the southern end of a north bound Pokey.
