Yup, they hit the vessel and stayed course until returning in 30 min.

So a 700 foot ship hits a 500 foot ship (T Bone) and just keeps steaming for several miles before realizing they hit and turned back?
Looking at the pictures of the cargo ship, it also had significant damage to the bow on the port side. Doesn't make sense.

US Coast Guard is questioning the crew of the cargo ship today, maybe more details will come out soon.
