Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta sternly shut down a late-night tweet from general manager Daryl Morey in support of the Hong Kong protesters.

Morey tweeted an image with the message "Fight for Freedom. Stand with Hong Kong."

Fertitta responded with a tweet denouncing the comment.

ON HOUSTONCHRONICLE.COM: As outcry in China grows, Rockets GM Daryl Morey's job appears safe

"Listen ... @dmorey does NOT speak for the @HoustonRockets. Our presence in Tokyo is all about the promotion of the @NBA internationally and we are NOT a political organization."

yep I agree 100% it all about the Money

When China stands in solidarity with California, and their future attempts to become a sovereign nation we will see the shoe on the other foot.

A balkanizarion of the USA is closer now then ever before. Truly bad times.

When you think Trump is doing the damage he is dfoing but neglect to see the damage being caused by the crazy left, it is not difficult to see this as a possibility.

Why would people want to stick together when the Dems do not get what they want, float ideas like abolishing the Electoral College, Open Borders, and abolishing ICE, stepping on the throat of 1A and 2A, what's not to love?

Same reason they always are (i.e. Obama on Iran) as it is quicksand, quagmire, and might lead to war.

John your list is fantasy. For both sides. Some Republicans think its going to happen and some Democrats wish it will happen ..

But Normal Americans are looking for reasonableness aka a centrist view .. but that dosnt motivate the bases on both sides .. Fear is the new model of politics in America.. oneside or the other is out to take from you . Is the new matra

And after the Kurd debacle. Words against Chinese action in Hong kong would be hollow anyway

If you accept Progressive interpretation of the Constitution, your bend is not slight. That interpretation is the foundation of the left in this country. And you are totally in support of it.

Ehhhhhhuuuhhhmmmmm. These are the talking points between the Dem Debates and a lot of Dem and crazier Dem supporting groups.

I would be happy with a Centrist Blue Dog Dem, there are NONE. ZERO. The closest to Centrists we've seen in the last decade might be Romney, Kasich, Webb, and others. Funny thing is the Left only likes them when they can use it to bash someone more from the right. But Romney was going to Hanmaiden's Tale us with Binders for on Wimin on the car roof or something with Horses and Bayonets.

News flash - you are not a centrist with a slight left bend. There may be some areas where that applies. You might be center for a Union member (not a knock) but you ain't center on normal concept of the term ; )
