Thanks for the kind words, Had a chattering noise in the engine so winter was the time to tear into it. found the noise I heard, Camshaft A Ok so lifters push rods and rockers will do it. Original carb 750cfm sandblasted the intake and ready for Buick red paint, I like the stock look.

Sweet ride man!! Classic American muscle is the way to go.

I had a young guy say to me " Hey mister nice car whatever it is "
Many people never new Buick had a performance car, I have a magnaflow exhaust sitting in the garage that will go in after engine is done. Four wheel drum brakes is cool to, Actually stops just fine.
Black bucket seats w/consol horseshoe shifter still has factory sonomatic push button radio.
I have some more pics, I'll post some more..

Also what a lot of people don't realize is that the Stage 1 version was one of the fastest production cars ever made.

oh man.. the bane of American muscle.. 4 wheel drum brakes.. stop you fine.. the first time.. they do fade from a high speed slow down or stop..
that is too nice to be doing high speed drops with.. cool cruiser look to it...
any cruise nights near you? I am sure there must be.
in the summer on the cape there is the wednesday night drive in at the Harwich A&W.. and not sure what the other night is, but at the Tech school near the canal there is a cruise night that ends up in the lot there... always cool to go look see..
that was about the last year of the true Buick, (as well as other manufacturers) muscle cars.. emissions, insurance, and gas shortages put the knife to them.

local guy here had a Stage 1 brand new back then that was real sick... we usta call it the "Luxury Screamer"....
