have a few more tree limbs to process left over from storm #3.. first I have to put new blades on the chipper...the fish tanks need a little TLC as well.

Sunday ..probably stare out the window wishing there was a little less snow around my boat so I could start working on it...then go and make a fire and watch re-runs of wicked tuna because that's as close to fishing in the ocean as I'm going to get for awhile.

A good run is better than a bad stand!

Heading to Newport with the girlfriend for the night. Any suggestions for a place with live music tonight stumbling distance from the artful lodger?

Pour judgement usually has live music after 9:30. The honky tonk knights might be at the midtown oyster bar... they are great !

They are great. The singer is a good friend and striped bass lover. He is the guy behind the Calimari causeway YouTube video.

Honkeytonk knights have a FB Page... give it a look later in the day and hopefully they will put something up.

Peg's mom passed late in the week thankfully ending her battle with cancer, so it's a wake and funeral to say goodbye to a grand old 90 year old lady.

Sorry to hear too, Bob.

I have had to sign my 92 yo mom up for hospice this past week. She has suffered a few falls. dementia sucks. Dying should not have to be this difficult. Kevorkian was on to something IMO. Life with dignity, death with dignity.....

You can put your beloved dog down so it doesn't suffer anymore, I wish we had those choices, at times it just seems so cruel. I watched my dad and his brother suffer for years with Alzheimer's before they finally thankfully passed on, my boys and Peg have promised me it's off to VT or a state I can be legally put down if I get to that same degree.

Thought and prayers to all you guys dealing with parental issues. Went through all of that stuff with my wife's Mom and my Mom and Dad 20 years ago.
