I don't even make plugs Slip....but last year I thought that would be cool to combine a wood swimmer with some rubber

Cutting edge? Pffft! I've been cutting tails off the Rubber Man's Curly tail grubs for a while now to use for that same purpose.

For those that think your idea was stolen - it sucks doesn't it?

Funny, I didnt complain when everyone started making spook type lures when there was no other company making them through wired for saltwater before me. Nor did I cry and stamp my feet when every jumps on the swirl paint job band wagon, which was done way before I decided to do it.

Check out some musky plugs, this is not a new idea, never said it was.

Tatoo. Speaking for myself, my post wasn't meant to diss you and Habs plugs in any way shape or form. You guys are making some really nice, quality stuff there.
I'm not a plug maker anyways. I do like to experiment though.
Hell, I even recently used a trimmed down 5 1/2" split tail from the "King of Rubber" for Cod teasers.

BigBo -

No harm done. Two things I have learned....

1 - If you cant take the heat get out of the kitchen.
2 - It's slippery at the top.

No ONE IS GOING TO REINVENT THE WHEEL, The sad part about this is SOME want it all when there is plenty to go around Theres enough pieces of the pie for EVERYONE and no TWO do things the same. Just some seem to see something and copy it right away when no one was doing it. Wait go to the Bourne Bridge paint your self PINK then Jump , How many would follow, Lifes to Short Boys........MERRY XMASS and a Happy New Year..................................Can't we all get along, To some That would be to EASY.
