Wow $2200/lb unbelievable just saw a snippet of tonight’s Chronicle about this harvesting in Ellsworth ME, where one guy netting enough in one night to get a check for $49,000. I can just imagine what those spawning rivers are like at night when they are netting, canal fishing prime time is like a petting zoo to what must be happening up there with those prices.

its a limited entry fishery, the permits,nets and locations are highly regulated and Maine EP's watch them closely.
