Same here. We fished from dawn 'til early afternoon.

Tuna fishing seems to be like trying to pick up chicks at the bar... you spend a whole lot of money, they tease you (in the tuna's case by skying clear out of the water 20' next to the boat), conditions line up and you "know" you're gonna hook up.... yet more often than not, you go home empty-handed and unfulfilled.

I'm with Johnny on most occasions this year fishing as a whole has been like a singles bar outing.

Hmmm... I was always told it's not the size of the bait, but how you work it in the water.

It is really getting old going out for what amounts to a boat ride. I didnt even see any fish Thursday. Normally I can find them then they wont eat. I was clearly looking in the wrong area from what other people have told me. Maybe one or two more trips this season then Im done for the year.
