Da Wife Brought Me Home a Treat...

She's definitely a keeper..

Looks interesting...propably won't get to it til next weekend though......I guess this stuff is hard to find, she told me the distributor in our area only had 25 cases total to distribute amongst its clients. Her store only got 12 bottles.

Life & Limb | Dogfish Head Craft Brewed Ales

WOW a maple syrup, dark that defies classification @APV 10.0! She definitely is a keeper!! I mean the wife, drink the beer!

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

I've tried it. On the fence if I like it or not. It's definitely not your traditional porter. It's a collaboration between DFH and Sierra Nevada, I believe?

Yep....they did it before in 2009, I think.

If you read the link they are releasing a "lighter" version of it called Limb and Life.....5% abv and draught only.

Chimay last night, maybe LandL tonight. I will let you know. I would be surprised if my wife dropped $20 on it, but you never really know until you know.

I believe the 10.5% ABV stuff in the corked bottle is 20 bucks...there could be a cheaper format that's smaller.

10.2% $9.99 at my local booze joint. They definately put out more for the second edition than they did the first. Tried it last night and liked the flavor but only drank about a third of my glass. I think there was "so much going on" with it that it was upsetting my tummy! Hubby said the same...anyone else notice this or are we crazy?

Simplify.......

Popped the cork last night. I thought it was very good. A bit on the heavy side, so probably not for everybody. I will buy more for sure.
