Such elegant plugs. It is easy to make a Gibbs, BM, Pichney, Musso, etc clone that looks and works as well as an original. No way you can do the same for a CCBC plug. They are a class above the rest.

I used to buy Creek Chubs at Capt Don's maybe 15 years ago when he was rght on Rt 1 near Dunns Corner. Sometimes that was all they would hit. two days later they might hit a cut of broom handle but sometimes it had to be Creek chubs. The one in your picture is an older. Good score!

The older gent I got it from said he bought it around 1955. I will post some other pics later today.
