Talked to Eddy, Tagger, yesterday about going to see Zappa again and he said hell yes. August 2nd. We will buy tickets there as there were plenty of tickets available last time. The more the merrier. It was a great show too.

I am still thinking of hitting the Boston show as well. Couple more and we can make an offical "S-B does Zappa plays Zappa".

Another may be Little Feat and Hot Tuna at the Warner.

The man from Stytown always played great in Philly. One of my preferred Bromberg live tunes.

Hey Jimmy Sly - do you know the date on the Allman's gig ...

Thanks, Fishbones - dammit, it's a worknight (for me) and probably the Labor Day Weekend which makes it even tougher to get it off...

Missed my opportunity to see them back in the early '70's at the Jazz Fesival when Duane was still alive...it was cancelled due to the riot - and I had box seat 3rd row back, right in the middle...

I'll have to go to their site to see what the rest of the schedule is

Crafty, I saw them at Great Woods about 12 years ago and it was an awesome show. I was feeling nostalgic and told my wife I was going to take her to the show this year and she reminded me that we have a wedding that night. It's too bad they aren't adding a second show as I think they have always done more than one when they've been here in the past.

My music buddy saw Greg Allman at the Narrow Center, a small venue in Fall River - he said it was an excellent show

Still want to catch them with Derek Trucks and the rest of the band, though

saw buddy guy the other night, great show. Had a 12yr old kid open up for him, Quinn Solomon or Sullivan. Kid was awesome, tried to do the same mannerisms as Buddy.

I advise you get there Crafty. Saw them last summer, Greg, Warren, Derek, Susan Ted. A lot of talent up on that stage.

I think they are all touring seperately as well, so multiple dates at one venue is probably tough to come by.

As for me, I get to see the Boss the weekend before (8/22). Never seen him before but heard he puts on one hell of a show.
