At woodstock, no one else was ready to go non stage so they told him
to keep playing. He was improvising and that was the first time that he played that song 'freedom".

yeah, he belted it out and realizing it was
original and in the spirit of the moment,
the beginning of the largest outdoor rock concert
the world had ever seen... he ACED it !
