'Yak trip in the Hahbah

Got out on Sunday, fished Deer Island, paddled over to Gallops Island,
tried north end of Long Island, no stripers. Trolled T & W, drifted chunks, clams, worms. Guy in a red Hobie Pro Angler had managed a couple of schoolies off Deer Island. Came back to Deer Island, fished some more, lucked into a nice 4 lb. tog on a worm. Beautiful day OTW; now, why couldn't the stripers have showed up?

DEFINATELY WASN'T LACK OF EFFORT BY THE SOUNDS OF IT. AT LEAST YOU LEFT WITH CHOWDAH INGREDIENTS( THE TOG, NOT THE CLAM,POGIES, AND WORMS).

I LOVE it when MY WIFE lets me fish
