good idea to stake them because the fruit gets heavy

i always buy the green plastic tie up tape because
i can keep a roll in my pocket and have it at the ready
for tomato's and anything else that needs support

If your plants grow properly they should turn tree like below the fruit on the stalk and not need top be staked. I grow 50 to 100 pepper plants a year. They freeze well so they last all winter.

I use seeds from these organic peppers I buy at Whole Foods. I think they come from Israel. Hot there means they last under most circumstances here. I dry my own seeds and go that route.
