Eric,

I am not sure if you are asking me, but those are pictures from an article, they are not mine. I just thought the profile was very close to Kuzia's tails which i know Stan Gibb's developed for him (or at least provided the input).

Kindest,
Billy

thanks, tail weights are not cast lead they are machined 303 stainless steel to a cone shape. a canal fisherman who happens to have the same first name of stanley has taken me under his wing. he has shared alot of his plug making knowledge with me, and i am very grateful for it. we have discussed this design and with some tweeking think we have a keeper.

Machinist,

If that person is Stan Kuzia you are one the right track as Stan is a legend in his own right. Best of Luck to you with the lures, looks great.

Billy

Yes, I did mean the pictures you posted. The lines on those plugs are just beautiful.

Is that where you got the inspiration for that design?

I am making, or shoulds I say i have been making for at least 2 years, a mold for Bruce to pour those tail wgts, really Bruce I am making it. It will be done soon i hope.I have talked to Stan several times about that tail wgt over many years.
Yes machinist bring your stuff. I will bring some of my metal crap that i have built over the years. I think you will like them. Got lots of half done stuff too. I like to build in wood mostly because it isn't metal.. We can commeserate about the trade.
