Me. I'll be over in the corner running the raffle as usual. Trying to trade a few plugs during the day.

I'll be there, turned 94 assorted plugs this week with help from some friends.

Don't know how many I'll get done for plugfest due to work and my painting area being colder than it should.

Do have a few gold leafs done and in the epoxy stages.

A few plugs for some people if they make it.

Hopefully I'll have a lot of trade bait ready.

Some PVC plugs done from last year too.

Talked about going for the last three years but this will be my first one.

Looking forward to meeting people.

I'll be at plugfest but I really haven't been doing too much building this year. I just don't seem to me as motivated as in years past.

I spun some stuff a few weeks ago and I've got most of that drilled and sealed, they'll be ready by the time the fish get here but I doubt much of it will be done by plugfest..

I built a lot of stuff last year that I still need to fish.

I'll be making every effort to attend. Sorry you won't be there Scott.... Haven't made it in three years. Only hitch is that is my twins' 18th bday...

As for getting plugs done, I got over the biggest hurdle getting back into it; I picked up a Jet mini yesterday in NH, and Striperman Bill picked up my old Shopsmith this morning. Good to see you Bill! Just turned first spook body after cleaning up the machine. Now to get the skews and gouges sharpened up. Spin for a week, drill and seal for a week, and then paint.... which is my most challenging step. Will also have to order up some hardware as the drawers are pretty thin.....

OK Gents - time to move forward and make this a good year for Plugfest.

The, uhm, reversal of direction on this thread has been redirected again and back to warm and glowing happy talk

I am working on something that may be interesting for PlugFest

I will be there!

I have a bunch I have been working on.

Testing plugs on the 1/2 frozen merrimack is not so fun, but seeing your hard work payoff is so awesome!

My dad and I are both looking forward to being there. I put some feathers and bucktail on a few hooks and he says he has a few more lures ready, though the basement is a little chilly for clear coat. Playing with flaptail connection options (to spin and not to spin). Really looking forward to chatting with folks and seeing their work as the pictures all look great. 4 weeks to my first Plugfest and 8 weeks to my 17th annual 4 Brothers in Law March Madness fishing trip to the Keys. Only thing that keeps dealing with this cold weather bearable.

Also go to MSBA.net and check out the new January 2011 Spray on line and see the article and pictures I sent in about my dad, the 90 year old plugbuilder. I have a shout out to Big Fish and the Plug bulding thread here on Striped-Bass.com. in the article as we learned a lot from both.

Bill

Long days at work, snow and freezing temperatures have been wearing me down.. I've been way too tired to hit the shop..... but I think I have enough plugs in reserve to have a few for trade, I might get some paint on an asortment of Jointeds i've had sitting in primer for a month.... I'll bring the displays with the wiring methods and some Jigs/fixtures like I had last year....
I know someone asked about darters/how to..

IF.. it ever stops snowing and I can find the time, I'll make a progressive set showing each step ...I aint gaurentteing that one.. if I get to it..it will be a bonus...

Nancy will be there as well to help out where ever she is needed... she's very excited about the event and has been talking about it since last year!

A good run is better than a bad stand!

IF I make it, it will be w/o plugs at this point. Just doesn't seem to be enough time in the days recently...
