wanted...

... hand winch for my car trailer. needs to be able to winch non- running cars from the 70's on down to the 20's (read heavy) onto my 18 foot trailer. maybe you've got one or could recommend a brand or place to purchase one. i assume that a boat winch would work but i've never owned a boat so i don't know much about them. welding a post and/or bracket won't be a problem. also looking to buy aforementioned cars ; muscle, street etc. not top dollar stuff, maybe project or parts cars. mainly the top 3, chevy, dodge and ford. also parts for these cars. will trade for cash. thanks in advance. hunan

I have one that's brandy new. I put a powerwinch on my trailer.
It's a Shelby 2100# with a strap, but you can put cable on it if you want. Let me know if interested, I'll post a pic.

boat winches don't count! gotta love it. i tow a car maybe once a month, if that. hand winches are cheaper, i won't have to lug a battery or keep one charged and i'll worry less about getting it stolen. my trailer isn't stored at my house. plus, a little crankin' never hurt nobody.
