feb. otw

the article on atlantic salmon shows a guy holding i believe a 12lb.er and on the next page advises the reader to not take the fish out of the water if we were to catch one. please point out to me what i am missing.

they're trying to get you to release the salmon without handling the fish
which disturbs the slime coat and endangers a released fish by
allowing harmful bacteria to attack the skin.

If you re-read the article. It says that they shouldn't of handled the fish. I believe the pic was taken before the author did his research on Atlantic Salmon for the article.
