I agree Scott, I had about 6 great horned owls around my house for all of Oct and most of Nov that would begin their conversations after sunset right up to sunrise. I often wondered how Ric was spying such camouflaged creatures then getting great shots of them, I looked several times with binocs but no luck. The fox playing with the mouse is a great series of pics too. Good stuff Ric!

Ha! too funny. Great Horned owls seem to like it high, high up in pine trees, usually close to trunk......look for owl pellets and white poop around base of tree....dead give away. Barreds seem to like it a little lower in the branches, maybe 15 or 20 ft, again mostly in pines. Crows and bluejays going nuts are a good give away of their position. Screech owls I usually hear at night and find the general area then go back in the morning and try to find. they nest in tree cavities, so once you find them you will usually keep seeing them in same tree. (yes, im bored and need to fish.....hahahaa)

Excellent. Found in Instagram too, which I almost never use. It is good to mix in some different...eye candy... that won't get me in the dog house.

Thank you all. An obsession that started with wanting to see a Snowy Owl in the wild, which quickly grew out of control....almost as much as my fishing obsession... haha
