Some other songs I've heard too many times on typical "classic rock" stations:

Won't Get Fooled Again

Bohemian Rhapsody

I was just having this same discussion last week w/ my Bro-in-law. And I had to pick Freebird....I don't even think it rates among the top five Skynyrd songs.

"Paradise By The Dashbo..blah blah blah," by Meatloaf, and anything by Billy Joel. Slingah- I agree...lights out for the Hotel. And you can have "Already Gone", too.
It's amazing what passes for "classic rock" on the radio.

You ain't kiddin' 28. Out of the two "classic rock " stations here, I can call what's playing, American Pie, Crocodile Rock or some Billy Joel song. The other station is either something off of Zeppelin 4, Who's Next or something from Boston (the band).

I think you guys mean "overplayed" not Overrated"!

Stairway To Heaven, Freebird and Barbara O'Rielly are the 3 single most overplayed songs in the history of the world.....BAR NONE!!!!!!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

i think every one basically agrees on the most overplayed and overrated songs of all-time, but from the past year or so Maroon 5 is definatly the most overplayed and overrated band.

When I caught my first bass I was hooked more than the fish.
