130's Wanted

Looking to buy a pair of used 130's in good condition. Prefer Shimano but will also buy Penn if they are pre Made in China in good shape. Send me a pm or post here if you are thinking of selling
Cheers

All of the Penn Internationals are still made in the U.S.

A good buddy who is very salty told me anything after 2006 +/- is made in China and does not stand up to the old Penn's

Lots of threads like these around on the same subject

Neither of those threads have anything to do with the big Internationals. I'm surprised it didn't switch to arguing about Yellowfin vs Contender.

As Mike said, they're made in the US.

Sorry for going off topic, good luck with your search Mungerish (and like MakoMike & Likwid said, the Penn International line is still made in USA).......

There's probably 1000 black boats rigged that way between Gloucester/Cape/NB.

Based on the logo in the front I think it's one of the Bramante boats.

I dunno, but when I saw that I immediately thought to myself...I says Self,... how do I get me a stuffed dead seagull to hang from the tallons of my fake plastic owl when the boat is in its slip? They have gotten wise to the lies of my fake owl and that might just freak em out again

Yeah, old hootie is fallin down on the job.
When I had a canvas T-top I strung heavy mono as bird wire in a star pattern. It worked like a charm, but I can't bring myself to drill holes in my hard top. On the canvas i just used plastic bolts and nuts up thru the gromets and drilled holes in the nuts to run the mono thru them. ( Now that I think about it, that sounds like what an old fishing buddy's wife did to him after he married her)
