Last saturday (11/1), I took my son to Wendy's in Middletown for lunch and they had it playing. My son said "daddy, is that Christmas music?" I said yes and he said, "tell them to turn it off, it's Halloween, not Christmas". The woman sitting behind us almost choked when she heard him say it. I love Christmas as much as anyone, but don't need to hear the music when it's still warm enough to go outside without a jacket.

WROR...

They did it last year too.

My technician at work sent them an email complaining and they responded that they did a "survey" and found the majority want to hear xmas music early. He told them he was going to switch stations and they replied something like.....SORRY TO HEAR YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH OUR PROGRAMMING CHANGE FOR THIS WONDERFUL TIME OF YEAR. PERHAPS ONE DAY XMAS WILL ENTER YOUR HEART AND YOU WILL FEEL THE JOY OF THE HOLIDAY. UNTIL THEN MERRY XMAS ............Man did I laugh !!!!!!!!!!!

I can't type here what his next reply was.......

I can't take it. It's already everywhere. Second week of November and Santa is in the mall.

Black Friday, I'll start listening to Christmas music. Can't bear to do any shopping anywhere.
