Light and medium action Striper rods and a nice batch of Freshwater tackle

Hi Everybody..

Just got a new rod wrapping machine for Christmas, so I'll be replacing some of these with new homemade customs over the next couple of months. They all have served me well..

G Loomis IMX SJR844 7' Spinning Rod- A fantastic stick for Albies and light plugs. It is absolutely one of the best blanks I've ever fished with. Amazing power for a light rod with a quick tip and plenty of backbone for fighting. I plan on buying the same blank and making another, so this one's available! $100.00

G Loomis GL3 MBR844C 7' Baitcasting Rod- Same blank action as above but in GL3 Casting. Another really sweet rod, though I hardly used it! Darn near new condition $90

Star 7'0" Spinning Rod 1/2-1-1/2 oz rated. Another nice rod for light jigs, plugs, etc.. $45

St. Croix Tidemaster 7' Med Hvy Graphite Baitcasting Rod 1/2-1-1/2 oz rated. Like the GL3, a nice solid plugging rod. I've also used pin eels very effectively with it. $60

Rogue SW704C - 7' Casting/Bottom Fishing Rod- 12-25lb Rated. This has been my go to stick for Tog fishing and it's also boated a bunch of Stripes. Amazingly strong for how light it is. I'll be wrapping another like it, so I'd like to sell this one. Very high quality blank. $60

I'd absolutely be interested in trades/bartering as well. I'm looking for either a Sustain or Stradic 6000, or any types of Shimano Calcuttas.

I will post sell prices and donate 20% of all of the proceeds from selling the sticks to SB.com!

As far as the freshwater stuff goes, I've been a fanatic collector of all things Bass for about 25 years. I've got an endless collection of very high quality rods, crankbaits, topwaters, buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, jigs, plastic, etc.. etc.. etc... If anyone's looking to start or grow a solid Bass tackle assortment, you may want to check out what I've got. Many of these lures are new or like new!

Thanks!

Thanks for the offer, Chunk. The 4000FI is probably the one I'd most likely be interested in(it'd go nicely on the new IMX spinner I plan on making), though I'm really hoping to find a 6000. If it's in nice shape, we can discuss it further via PM.

What does NIB mean other than an old Ozzy Tune? :^)

Hi! I received payment for and shipped two rods. $160 total

160X.20= 32 bucks for SB.com. Heading in today via PayPal, John.

GLoomis GL3 7' Casting Rod and St. Croix Tidemaster 7' Casting Rod still available.

I'd like to mention that Chunk bought two rods from me and was a pleasure to deal with. Quick payment, and easy to work with. I'd surely do business with him again on this site.

Thanks for the offer.

Shipping runs around 20-30 bucks (incl. insurance, and depending if you need packaging or not). Since I would need to find packaging for it, you're looking at at least half the price of the rod to get it to you. That's a tough one for me, but thanks for making an offer.

Brian ....... guess my edit didn't take ......... that was for both the Gl\Loomis and the St Croix .......... not just the St Croix ......... Packed in PVC pipe and shipped total shipping should be less than $20 bucks ....... I build rods too ...... but if you're not interested, I understand

THanks
Rick

PVC's a great idea. I should have thought of that. Got a plumbing supply house right up the street. Done deal if you can PayPal and would split shipping costs.(PVC plus USPS shipping). Last rods I shipped were well over $20 but I bought ski boxes and shipped fed ex.

The Loomis is almost Perfect and the Tidemaster is in very nice shape, too.

Brian- Great to meet you. Just be careful with the PVC - the weight can get to be pretty heavy. I built a pvc rod tube for a flyrod in order to bring it on a plane and was amazed at how heavy it was.

Brian;
I definitely know that the rods are great but the max I can go is $160 for both shipped. After my daughters wedding and Christmas I am totally tapped out. This would give $10 for shipping.

James is right regular PVC is heavy but there is the thin walled PVC it's about 1/2 the weight of regular PVC got mine at Home Depot.

Let me know if this is ok and I will paypal you tonight

THanks
Rick
