Plugfest Feb. 11th 2017 is on!

Once again we will have a plugfest this year. It will be at Monument Beach Sportsmans club in Monument Beach Mass. Address is 199 MacArthur Blvd. Monument Beach, MA 02553

It is just over the Bourne Bridge down about 3/4 or a mile when you see a sign for Majors RV, be sure to be in the left lane to turn around at the turn off stop sign, then take the first right into the entrance for both the landfill and the Sportsmans club, go in the driveway to the left before the dump. Park and walk left to the clubhouse. The gate should be open, if not call my cell. I will get there by 8 , start around 8:30 or 9

We won't have a bartender so no booze or beer please.
There is a kitchen to warm food up and we should all bring some potluck, at least the locals anyway.

Bring your plugs, ideas, new techniques or anything else you can contribute with. We will have a good time.

Only a month and a week to go, I'm looking forward to it. Thanks

I’m in. Can't wait. Will there be demos? If so, I could bring a lathe like we do at CSA Demo Day and show some basics for newcomers. Maybe Dilly D. will help out.

As of now I'll be there. Don't have to much to show but still doing my usual. Like I say I don't post here much but I do check in here often. Just not one for "talking" on web sights. I will bring something also.

Mike we always appreciated you and the family giving all of us "chip makers" an opportunity to stock up. Thanks for all the Plugfest you sold supplies. You deserve the day to enjoy.

Thank you, numbskull, I haven't made any for a while but did finish a couple of canal specials for my son who's is getting into surf fishing. And thinking of how much I missed PlugFest and you and the guys. Time to take the boy to plug heaven.

I'll be there. I'll bring the pics on a flash drive from the (I believe) second slugfest at your shop. I have some lures from this year as well as a few from 35+ years ago.

I found a bunch of images from the 2005 slugfest, some my own and a bunch from other folks. Attached is a nice one of John Merwin (I still have one of his tiger maple needles), Habs and Manzi (I never did get to Ho one of his needles).

Just checking with you to see if you are still planning to bring a small lathe?

Yes, I’m bringing the lathe and I’ll do a demonstration on through-drilling and carving a basic needlefish. I’m thinking Billy D. may want to do something. If anyone else wants to use it, you are welcome.

Plugfest 2011

Always a good time. Some of what I scored here in 2011 are still on my board and a part of my pick list for my tackle bag.

I mean...Xman Numbskull's custom tackle bag which I also scored because it was a reject defective as he sewed the pocket on the wrong side.

Thanks Mike!

Is anyone bring food for the potluck lunch?
I suppose I can pick up some wings and bring along a double batch of brownies. I can bring my large cooler and a couple cases of water. Can someone bring soda for those who prefer soda?
So who is bringing what?
Thanks
