I'm mixed on the lead guitar but they still have that old garage band magic.

On a side note, the tickets for this tour were just too damn expensive. $100+ for some decent seats kind of stings. I dug out some old ticket stubs a few weeks ago. $24.00 back in '94....

Warren Haynes killed on lead for them last weekend. He's a great fit with the Dead the way he likes to jam with the Mule.

How much was a vs in '94?

Thumbs up

Pete, how about the price on this show in Prov. in 1973.
Made the trek around New England for shows in that era with the Newport Gang.
Great times

So if you went to that show in Prov, did you go to the one in Springfield where they did'nt sell out so they played extra long because only the real fans were there?

A VS has only approximately doubled, not more then quadrupled.

Springfield,Hartford,Boston,New Haven,Amherst,Portland, where ever they were playing we would gather up the troops and head out.
I'm sure you've heard some stories of the trips back then.
We put 12-14 people in a box truck and went to New Haven once, that was quite a ride.
Great memories and I have a boat load of bootleg cassettes from the period

I'm with you Larry, never got the attraction. And I did more than my share of "hippy %$%$%$%$e" (i.e...well....U know) in my younger days. To this day the thought of regular haircuts freaks me out.

Catch'em up,

That's why music is a personal choice, as are haircuts and lifestyles.
It's tough for me to beat cranking up a old version of one of their classics when I'm a little down. Never really been fond of disco and the mullet though.
