Yes, and by that time they will be making crack cocaine and heroin legal too so Big G can collect more taxes. You can count on ways of finding new taxes being as addictive by Big G as those drugs. Pot is a Gateway Drug in more ways than one.

I totally disagree..

last i heard, France, which we all know is the wine capital of the world has a very low alcoholism problem.. kids drink a glass with dinner all the time.. its no big deal.

The problem is how we stigmatize substances here…

IMHO.. the real problem with the legalization of MMJ, is how freaking potent it can be.. and then you have Dabbing, which is the smoking of extracted oils from the plant.. From what i have heard, dabbing is damn near just like smoking crack. Thats the elephant in the room that pro MMJ people are not addressing.

Kinda what I'm saying, there will always be many who want to find a higher high so will find ways to alter a drug, or as you say "substance", to make it more potent or try another "substance".
It's the addiction to the "substance" that causes the real problem, especially within a family. Live with a kid who is addicted in early years and watch them
get stuck at that age because they never really faced reality, or an adult member of a family addicted and see the misery and waste of life that pursues.

Yes. I agree. I have a friend who has smoked pot daily since I have known her.. ( 17).. she has not developed much in the maturity department since then.. But, That being said, I believe the exceptions to this greatly outweigh the negatives. Alcohol is far more deadly than ganja…

So call me a crackhead ! Hah!!
Ive done dabs out west before and it's definitely not crack , it's harm reduction . I can vape a tiny dab and get the same effect as smoking a joint . Thing is with a dab I'm not combusting all the extra plant material . Is doing a shot at the bar similar to smoking crack ?

you can blame the federal government (nixon's henchmen)for it's scare tactics and mislabeling of
pot as a schedule one drug right next to cocaine or heroin

that was based on pure fiction @ the time
and was done so in/ around the nixon era long before the current quality
was created and modified.... it was like HAY at that time ...HAY!!!

and they wanted to keep the migrants (mexicans) out of this country
they didn't like what was happening in the black Jaz muscian scene where
"mota" was being used heavily pre bob marley...

but this prohibition thing...what it did was it JACKED up it's VALUE to
unprecedented levels forcing it under ground and created the black market
ALSO the persecution of people over it.... like the KENT STATE shootings
where the hippy's stuck flowers into their gun barrels
and the gestapo like tactics of enforcement kept increasing the fervor over it...

there is very MUCH FEAR created over
it with false propaganda (because of the gov.)
and that fear has multiplied over time creating the situation we have today

there has been a trillion dollars spent on this and the prison industry has gone
out of control ....where we have more people in prisons than any other country on earth.....

and what is prison.... it's a rape factory where people get sent to be raped
repeatedly ,beaten, stabbed ...indoctrinated into GANGS ....
and these same people are then being released back into society when their time is up...

then they cannot get a job, or they can only get a minimum wage job
to satisfy the p.o. so they deal on the side because it's way to lucrative ...why? because the government made it that way....
they act all self righteous about battling the scourge of the drugs they made profitable in the first place.
they need to look in the mirror
=============================================
i'll never forget seeing unmarked camo cargo planes flying at tree top level right out of mexico
......that was the contra affair our own government getting "IN" on the action.... to produce funds for black ops....

they scraped the old oak tree's and messed up the driveway that i just finished cleaning with the backpack blower.... every week

none were ever caught

Chef.. i know all about it, and you are confirming my point. you need a tiny dab to equal smoking a joint. What happens when someone smokes a lot of it? might as well eat a bag of shrooms… Im not opposed to it, its just that is is high octane stuff..

I think the bigger issue may be the dangers in production. If there's a real concern they can always ban it. Just because pot is legal doesn't mean all forms.

Yeah ,saw that article earlier .

Marijuana hysteria ...

Now dabs are similar in effect to shrooms? I currently indulge in neither , but not even remotely similar at any dose . You can only get so high man! Hah , seriously ! Massive sessions back in my yute taught me after the 1st joint , etc you really aren't getting any higher ! Here's an article for ya

the french and the canadians proved it was quite effective fighting cancer
this is the green oil not the refined oil.....
but that knowledge is being suppressed unfortunately....probably to safeguard
the cancer Industry as a whole... but that's merely a guess

the closest thing we have to a cancer cure is nano-bots that search and destroy cancer cells
but they haven't been approved yet by the FDA

South Korean scientists ....announced "today" that they have created nano bots
in the lab that seek out and kill cancer...cells

it certainly has properties of ANTI nausea post chemo therapy
and obviously increases your appetite....

recently this dipstick Doctor was saying that there's absolutely no such thing as medical marijuana
but europe has several patents registered in the us patent office for it
so he's just talkin the usual paranoia crap

I think that the legalization movement should drop the medical stance. Yes, it has some medicinal qualities. That is just icing on the cake! It is an enjoyable (to some) intoxicant, and responsible adults should be able to use it at their discretion. just like alcohol. except less dangerous/harmful.

done.

Don't be afraid to pocket your profits while you still have them. Its still fool's gold right now but the future seems to hold promise for the industry. Stock went from 90 a couple days ago to 42 this am.

I also put mjna and phot in my IRA and am pretty happy so far, but the companies are ridiculously valued, perhaps due to pump and dump stuff going on right now, thus I sold a bunch today just to lock in some profit.

Gotta admit though...Americans love their cigarettes, booze, fatty foods, both legal/ elicit drugs....that's all the thesis you need to risk a small amount of money on this industry.

Drop the medical stance?I would invite you to sit down with a terminal cancer patient and say "drop the medical stance".Do you even have a clue as to how weed helps these people?

Weed in combination with pain meds helps these folks feel good relatively speaking and the fact that they can get stoned and actually laugh knowing that they are going to die...priceless.

Please think before you speak of what you know nothing about.

Basswipe.. what he means is 'just legalize it for all' and drop the medical only part.. Of course it should still be used for such issues as what you have mentioned.

I was going to sell mdbx yesterday before it tanked but guess what happened?????? Scotrade's effing website froze up for 45 minutes HOW CONVENIENT!!!!!!!!! By the time I was able to sell the stock was in the high 40's which was a 3k swing. I still made money but 3k less. I bitched at them on the phone and they gave me a lousy 20 free trades worth 140 bucks. I was on hold with them for a half hour trying to get someone on the phone to make the trade as the stock was plummeting. It wasn't my computer it was their website. I should of had a stop sell on it but didn't think I needed it as I was watching the stock by the minute. It's tough to win as it is never mind finally win good and get poked like that. I'm moving to Schwab!

i know very well what the medical benefits are. I speak strictly from a strategical point of view for the best way to get it legal.

IMO, a bunch of stoners arguing for "medical" marijuana comes off poorly to those who are on the fence with the issue. Like "hey, these stoners are trying to fool me saying they want medical, when obviously they are just a bunch of hippy stoners."

the fact is it should be legal for all, not just medical.

Made a few bucks on phot too and bought some more at the end of the day. See what tomorrow brings but all the weed stocks got hammered today. Made a small profit on hscc before it blew its giant load today also.
