It's been 30+ years for me, but I don't think it was that much of an accomplishment, mainly because when I quit I was only smoking about a pack a week!

But as an active teen, I noticed that it was affecting my stamina so I kicked it cold turkey.

Actually, I switched (briefly) to chewing tobacco (Redman) but after one time too many of accidentally swallowing some juice I canned that idea real fast. Swallow any of the juice and you WILL be purging your stomach within 30 minutes...GUARANTEED.

For anyone that may think that chew isn't as bad as smokes, you are WRONG. Besides the mouth cancer aspect, the "juice" is actually poison!

You want proof? If you can find it, get a bad of chew, soak it in water to make a "tea" and spray it on any insect you want, and watch it die in seconds! (I used to use it as a bug spray to keep garden pests in check)

OK, enough of the PSA crap.

Congrats on 5 years of clean breathing!!!

I am a legend in my own mind!

Not intentionally hijacking this thread but do you think this would also work on keeping animals out of the garden?
