Fish report from Sunday 5/06/07

Hit the cape again on Sunday, Man was it freakin Chilly, only about 50 degrees, But the bass were up for playing. We caught about 50 plus bass in a Bay down the south side of the cape. Caught fish on Coccaho shads, teaser rigs, and some new BigFish Bait Co. Pensil Poppers in 1 oz, if you see these lures in the store you better pick them up as the fish were all over them. We even picked up the 1st keeper of the season. Not bad for only our second outing.

The Bite was hot in the morning on the south side but as the day cooled we hit the bourne area and it was slow pickings.

The heat this week is gonna bust things wide open.

Fish are showing in Boston Harbor, so get booked now as the mackerel will be in any day now strong and the bass will be right on them.

Now is the time to get one of the best fish of your season as these are big Girls eating horse mackerel.
