Chatham fish

Fished off chatham yesterday amongst the crowds. Managed to jig up two fish. The first was 67" the second was a bit smaller. While negotiating the second fishes release, it went crazy, busted the line, and my jigging rod.....Need to work on that!!!!

Well done...How was the bite out there that day with the trollers? I was going to go but the day before it sounded pretty slow...so I stuck close to home. I hope yours is a sign of the bigger fish starting to move in.

I have a trip planned for wed. (if all goes as planned)

Trying to find that PERFECT weather day where I can get out to the Sword in my 215CC since that is the only place the BFT seem to be hanging out this year.

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

When we got out there (after a 90plus mile run) there was some chatter on the radio of a few fish trolled up. A buddy of ours was trolling. Only thing he got a a bluedog on a ballyhoo! After we got our first fish, he stopped and started to jig. They apparently went 5 for 6 with fish between 50 and 70 inches. Our second fish was a bit smaller than the first, but didnt get a good measure on it due to the "rough release" . I heard thursday and friday was pretty dead out there, and then saturday it picked up again.
