I'd take it but not worth it to me to drive to Ashland for it. Ever go down cape? I'm 1 mile off 495, exit 5 . You can take pee break.

Well if you still got it then I can drive to Bridgewater to get it. I will be down Cape from 23rd till 30th of August though. If it goes before then, my loss. Drop me a Pm if it comes to that, and good luck with sale.

Yeah if you want too. Kind of out of your way isn't it? Might be worth it to just wait till end of August and see what transpires. You just want to pee in my yard, again

What a pal

What exactly is a sand eel rake? Because the acres of sand eels I frequently see out on the bank bewilder me as to how one would go about rakeing them?
I'd imagine with a yard rakes you could get it done.. but you never see anyone sporting the old plastic rake up in the rocket launcher.

The rake has a long handle with a head about 12 inches wide with long tines about 1/2 inch apart. You pull it through the sand in shallow water and they get impaled in the tines.

That thing standing up in my boat is the rake Mike. I have a much wider one too with a real long handle for power raking when the water is deeper but I prefer to do it by foot in water ankle to chest deep. They burrow in the sand and you got it to pull them out of there like stated above.

Still available? If it is, I'll can save Peter a trip as I'm in Ashland on occasion for work. I'll set up a meeting and then stop by and grab it for Paul. I know I'll be down on the cape sometime soon...those little things haunt me...

that would be nice of you Kris if it is no trouble. Word is out on that spot so make sure it is a weekday or you will be unhappy most likely.

No trouble at all. I was out with Ernie on Sunday. Snuck out early got a handful and left. The amount of boats out there was crazy!

So back to the rack...

good for you. and thanks. let me know what transpires, don't kill yourself trying to get it as it will just be a back up to a back up. I got several already but can always use another.
