Angry HP computer grump

Just have to vent, and give the company some bad press

My wife bought a new HP laptop about a year ago. It's been back to HP 3 times in that year for repairs to the power unit. It just dies. The last time was about 2 weeks ago. Gone for a week, and it came back Tuesday in the exact condition it was sent out in--dead as Kelsey's nuts. Calling HP customer "service" 3 times this week has been an adventure in frustration. Having to deal with a bunch of "English as a second language" people was expected. What wasn't expected is the run-around. Every time, the person on the line isn't "authorized" to OK a repair that obviously wasn't done. No, some higher mucky-muck will call us. This has been going on since Tuesday, without our being graced by this return call. And of course, this Grand Poobah isn't available on Sunday

HP computers suck, and their service sucks even worse. Don't buy HP.

Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools, because they have to say something.

As a company, HP has too many problems to list.

That's all we use here are HPs. We've replaced most of our inventory within the last year and haven't had anr hardware problems yet, but my fingers are still crossed. Alot of the equipment we replaced was crappy HP crap it all has it's share of bugs, it's just a matter of when they rear their ugly head.

We've had to replace some monitors, though and I had to call HP and get the world tour. Call HP and get connected to Canada: "Sorry eh, we can't help you, but I'll connect you to the right department ok.." Then it's off to Bangladesh... Then New delhi and back to Canada...

Any how the last replacement monitor they sent me didn't work either so I found my passport (hoping I could get better service) and called them back. Needless to say I went through the same waste of time again and when I returned the monitor I also filled the box with sub wrappers, soda cans, old newspapers, etc. Just made me feel better.
