Amen. I fished Quonnie breachway that night. Quiet as could be. No planes. Could see the glow over at NYC. Was supposed to be in Tower One for an Equity Trading class with 5 others. 4 had to cancel at the last moment. The fifth passed while there.

Was working at home and on hearing about the first tower hit, watched in disbelief as the second tower was hit. Couldn’t believe what I was watching.

I was salmon fishing at the West Branch of the Penobscot that week and camping at Prays Big Eddy. On the 10th my stove generator crapped out so I headed to Millinocket in the morning and heard the news at a general store - I was stunned and called my wife and son...can't remember being so pissed off and sad at the same time. God Bless all lost and affected by those dirtbag cowards.

Me too. I had been in the North Tower on Friday as NY Port Authority was my customer for a big imaging job we were doing for Transit. My meeting got cancelled that morning.
