oldie newbie

hi folks, I am a new post from Alabama. I live in the middle of Logan Martin, Lake Matin, Weise Lake, Lake Mitchell, Henery Neely and RL Harris lake all of which have been stocked with Atlanic and Gulf Coast Strain of Saltwater Stripe and Wipers.. Also, I am about an hour from Guntersville Lake and Two hours from Smith Lake the Striped Bass super Lake of the south. I have caught striped bass for many years but I think I am going to put more time in the FRP (Fish Reduction Program) this fall to see if the 1955, 55 lb state record can be broken. Also would like some input on the Black Saltie Minnow and if they are worth the trouble. Thanks Vic:

Welcome! Don't have any input on the BSMinnow, sorry. I've always wondered how I'd do fishing a lake for stripers, as so much of my MO is current related....

welcome aboard Vic. You are lucky to be living in the vicinity of some serious fishing lakes. Keep us posted on your chase this fall.
