Why would Trump not do exactly that, he needed to get funds raised and campaign because he is way behind, he only cares about what’s good for him. He could care less about lives put in harms way and he is so stupid, that he wasn’t able to predict what that selfish act would cost. Might just cost him and others their lives. |

I didn't ask you if he downplayed it. Just about everyone downplayed it. The Dems. The WHO. The Press. Dr. Fauci. Downplayed it. Trump did not say it was a hoax. He said the Democrats accusing him of mishandling it was a hoax. And when he said that, he had already done a lot to fight it. He would not have done the travel bans and be ridiculed for doing it if he believed it was a hoax. He would not have created a task force to fight it if he thought it was a hoax. He would not have spent the time and energy to create a way for private companies to manufacture and distribute needed medical equipment if he thought it was a hoax.

The stunning conclusion from the briefing today is that the Trump knew he had COVID-19 at least 3 days ago, did not disclose it, went to events and risked infecting others.
They thought they could hide this until the media outed Hope Hicks and the POTUS developed symptoms.
