Notre Dame

Massive Fire, severe damage but they got lucky in the end. The structure initially is sound, most of the artwork and statues had been removed several days ago in preparation for the work. Much of the remaining parts of the building can be saved

I last was there over 30 years ago, look forward to going there again.

Absolute tragedy. Some of the most incredible stained glass windows in the world were lost today.

Pleasantly surprised to see images of what was saved inside the cathedral and the artwork that they were able to remove during the fire. I was convinced that nothing would be salvaged inside the walls.
